February Notes:

Parents/dancers please be aware Monday dance class will NOT be held this coming Monday February 20th because of the holiday (presidents day), classes will resume Tuesday the 21st.
Also, hip-hop costumes are being reviewed and prices will be posted as soon as things have been ok'd, we are keeping these as inexpensive as possible. Another thing we want parents of our Crimson Heat girls to be aware of is the introduction of a "drill team prep class". This class will be held tentatively from 3:30-5p.m.staring this upcoming Wednesday (22nd). If your daughter is interested in trying out for a High School Drill Team comebspring, we highly recommend they attend. Don't miss out in this great opportunity to get a step ahead. Prices are TBD and will be posted ASAP!

February Newsletter

Hello parents,
This Newsletter tab will be updates each month to make sure you gave access to the most updates information available about your dancers upcoming events as well as payments due etc. Thank you so much for all your wonderful support! Our competition teams are looking so great thus far and are only going to get better before we head to their competitions!  Those will be - the Dixie Jam, held in St. George on April 14th at Dixie College and Dance America Nationals, held in Draper on April 28th at Juan Diego High School.  The entrance fee for each competition will be $75, for a total of $150 in competiton fees. These fees will need to be paid by March 1st. 
 
Thank you so much for your prompt response in paying the costume deposit. 
The Military and Jazz Costumes have been ordered.  We will be renting our Lyrical Costmes from the High School so that we can save you some money.  Hip Hop Costumes still need to be decided (this will be done by the end of the week) all of our instructors are keeping in mind that these costumes need to be affordable as well as worth the money spent on them ( high quality) they all are very aware of efforts to try and keep the cost down.  

For Military,  we will be using the same black dance shoes as last year.  Don't re-order them if you can still use them.  For Jazz and Lyrical we will be using bear paws, again if you have nude color bear paws there is no need to re-order them.   

For Hip Hop, we will be using the same silver sneakers that we purchased last year.  Costumes for this particular dance will be decided on today and the cost will be posted along with payment dates asap.

We will be using the same warm-up (sweats) as last year.  If you are interested in purchasing a set it would be great!!  It is good to all be in our warm ups for the awards ceremony, but it is not required.  Here is a list of expenses.

Black shoes      $30 - order 1 shoe size larger than street shoe

We will have another costume payment of $100 due in Feb (please be sure to get any and all payments in as soon as possible so that our seamstress can be paid as well as orders we have placed).
 
We again appreciate your patience as we have gotten the studio up and running. We relize that this has made it more difficult as we have tried to organize costumes etc. Next year we will have this available at the beginning of the season so that you can pay them of in payments. A parent handbook link will also be up soon so that everything you could possibly need to know will be available to you.
